Katerina ® 720SC

KATERINA^® 720SC is an excellent contact fungicide for the preventative action on a wide range of diseases particularly downy mildew and botrytis on roses and squash, early and late blight on tomatoes, and coffee berry disease (CBD) on coffee.

MODE OF ACTION: Chlorothalonil is a broad spectrum, contact, fungicide with long residual activity which prevents infection by fungi when applied as a protective barrier on the plant surfaces by inhibiting various enzymes and other metabolic processes in fungi. It inhibits spore germination, and is toxic to fungal cell membranes.

APPLICATION RATES

APPLICATION TIMING: Apply KATERINA^® 720SC about 2 weeks before a rainy season or when climatic conditions favour disease development. Repeat application every 10 days.   

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: Ensure adequate coverage of the crop foliage.

PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of KATERINA^® 720SC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing. Use the mixture on the same day of preparation.

COMPATIBILITY: KATERINA^® 720SC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers. We always advise a physical compatibility test before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.

PHYTOTOXICITY: KATERINA^® 720SC is not phytotoxic when used as recommended.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: DO NOT enter into treated areas until the spray deposits have dried. When entry is necessary before drying of spray deposits, proper protective gears should be used.
