Lexus ® 247SC

MODE OF ACTION

• Lambda-cyhalothrin is a non-systemic synthetic pyrethroid with contact and stomach action. It also exhibits some repellant properties. It acts as a Sodium channel modulator by disrupting the functioning of the nervous system in an organism leading to paralysis and death.
• Thiamethoxam is a systemic neonicotinoid that has contact and stomach action. It acts as an acetylcholine receptor agonist on target insects. It damages the nervous system, eventually leading to death.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

Continued repeated use of this product alone over an extended period of time may result to the development of resistance. In order to avoid such situation, alternate Lexus® 247SC with another insecticide that has a different mode of action.
APPLICATION METHOD

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL (PHI)

French beans, onions and cabbage 14 days, tomatoes, broccoli and capsicum 7 days.
APPLICATION TIMING

Apply Lexus® 247SC when the locally established pest economic injury level has reached or at first signs of pest infestation and repeat as necessary 3 times a season at an interval of 10 days.
PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE

Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of Lexus® 247SC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing.
RE-ENTRY PERIOD

Do not enter treated areas until 12 hours after spraying unless if wearing appropriate protective clothing.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

Apply Lexus® 247SC as a foliar spray using 1000 litres of water per hectare. Ensure adequate coverage of plant foliage and flowers. Repeat application at least 3 times per season
