MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is a dust free, flowable sulphur based fungicide formulation for the control of powdery mildew, other fungal diseases and mites in a wide range of crops. MICROTH IOL SPECIAL DISPERSS goes into suspension quickly and completely providing more consistent coverage and greater surface contact compared to traditional sulphur products.

Formulation MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is a dry flowable formulation made of finely
ground sulphur particles that primarily range in size from 1 to 6 microns with most particles being 3 microns.
Mode of Action : MICROT hydrogen sulphide, a gas toxic to the fungal pathogen. Small particle size increases the number of contact points with mildew mycelium and in turn, increases the efficacy. Sulphur activity increases with heat and light intensity. Conversely, activity decreases with high air movement because it disperses the sulphur vapours.
MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is also effective in the control of mites in terms of the following:

Effective on both nymphs and adults
Active as a mite repellant
Harmless to beneficial insects that prey on mites.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is applied as a foliar spray to control powdery mildews, other fungal diseases and mites. Thorough wetting of the crop must be ensured. Half fill the spray tank with clean water, add the necessary quantity of the product and stir, then top up with water. Keep on agitating when filling and during spray operations.

Timing
Best results are obtained when MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is applied before disease or mite
populations are well established. Avoid spraying sulphur during flowering as most crops are sensitive.
Spraying is recommended in the early morning or late afternoon as certain crops may be temperature
sensitive to sulphur. A spray interval of 7-10 days is recommended, depending on the disease/mite pressure.

Pre-harvest Interval : 0 days in open fields and 3 days in greenhouses.
Compatibility
MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is compatible with most commonly used pesticides
except those with alkaline reaction and oil containing products. However, DO NOT tank mix
with any product unless your own prior testing has shown that the combination is physically
compatible, effective and non-injurious under your conditions.
Phytotoxicity
MICROTHIOL SPECIAL DISPERSS is not phytotoxic when used as recommended.
Handling Precautions
Do not smoke drink or eat while using this product.
• Avoid eye contact. Wear safety goggles when handling the product.
• Avoid spray mist and exposure to the product. Wear rubber gloves, mask covering
nose and mouth. Wear protective clothing such as long sleeved shirts, long pants and
rubber boots when handling the product.
• After application wash yourself and your work clothes.
Environment and Wildlife
The product is not toxic to fish. However, do not contaminate water sources and supplies
by disposal of product waste. Keep livestock out of treated areas. MICROTHIOL SPECIAL
DISPERSE is not toxic to natural enemies and beneficial insects such as bees and wasps
when used at recommended rates.
