MODE OF ACTION: Chlorpyrifos (organophosphate group) works by blocking an enzyme which controls messages that travel between nerve cells. When the enzyme is blocked, the nervous system can’t send normal signals, which causes the nervous system to malfunction, eventually killing the pest.

Fruit trees	Termites	10-20 ml per litre of water	Drench at the base of a tree followed by irrigating enough water, depending on severity of termite infection.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: RANGER^® 480EC can be used as direct spray or drenched into the soil (especially when controlling termites). Adequate coverage of the crop foliage and construction wood should be ensured.

APPLICATION TIMING: Apply RANGER^® 480EC at first signs of infestation or insect egg hatch peak period and repeat applications on a 7-14 day intervals based on regular scouting.

PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of RANGER^® 480EC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing. Use the spray mixture on the same day of preparation.

COMPATIBILITY: RANGER^® 480EC is compatible with most commonly used pesticides and liquid fertilizers. However, a compatibility test is advisable before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.

PHYTOTOXICITY: RANGER^® 480EC is non-phytotoxic when used as recommended.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: DO NOT enter treated areas during the restricted-entry interval of 24 hours after the spraying. If prior entry is necessary wear appropriate protective clothing.
