DESCRIPTION 
VITRA 40WG is a blue Wettable Granules copper-based fungicide and bactericide, with fine particles which are easily dispersed in water to ensure better disease control. It is a preventative fungicide for control of early and late blight in tomatoes; bacterial blight and downy mildew in cabbages; rust, anthracnose, halo blight and angular leaf spots in french beans. 

Mode of action 
VITRA 40WG is a protective fungicide/ bactericide. Upon application on the leaves, Copper ions are released. The copper ions are absorbed by fungal and bacterial spores. Once absorbed, copper disrupts the enzyme system of the pathogenic organisms. Copper ion in VITRA40WG stops the germination of fungal spores and kill bacteria, thus stops infection. It is a protectant fungicide/ bactericide therefore it must be deposited on the leaves before infection. 

Note: Apply prior to disease appearance and follow recommended spray intervals. 
Preparation of the spray 
Mix the required quantity of Vitra 40WG in half of the necessary amount of water while constantly agitating. Mix into a slurry and top up with the remaining amount of water, while constantly agitating. Even while spraying constant agitation is necessary. Spray to give an even coverage.
